Tempest Tossed: Conversations on Migration and Mobility

The Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility recently launched a new podcast, Tempest Tossed, on immigration and refugees that goes beyond the predictable soundbites. Join Alex Aleinikoff, university professor at The New School and director of the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, and guests for in-depth discussion on what’s happening on the ground and how to understand current policy debates.

In the first episode, Alex Aleinikoff speaks with Professor Denise Gilman, Director of the Immigration Clinic at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, about separated children, zero tolerance, and the border.

Recent guests have included law professor Peter Margulies; Kate Jastram, a senior attorney at the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies at the University of California; and Doris Meissner, former US Commissioner of Immigration and currently a senior fellow at the Migration Policy Institutes.

Tempest Tossed is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or any other of your favorite platforms.
